So, my day job that has been a night job, has just been slightly refined, so I'm now actually working during the day on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Not big news to you?  Cool.  It is to me! 

I get two of my nights back to go out and do music-related stuff, or, gawd forbid, actually even go out on a date! 

I'm recording 30 songs in 30 days!  For the most part, these will be acoustic versions of pretty much all my finished stuff from over the years.  Listen at www.eyeofthemonkey.com

It ain't too pretty yet, but it's as good as it's gonna get for awhile.  Lots of other stuff to do, so what's not done will have to wait.  Like anyone cares, lol.  I'm just putting this in here to see where it winds up on the page.

I've fixed up eyeofthemonkey.com, created darrylerickson.com, joined Facebook and Myspace, got my new computer and installed all the new music software, and I'm about to launch a great Canadian web hosting reseller program.  What more could I possibly be doing?

Well, I'd like for this to be a place where my friends and I can discuss things, and collaborate on certain ideas.  And I imagine as things keep moving forward for me, it will be good to have a spot where I can communicate about things that aren't all related to music.
